Welcome to Grace in the Ordinary: Simple Faith for Everyday Life

If you’ve ever wanted to be more intentional about your faith in everyday life, and then felt overwhelmed before you even knew where to start, you’re in the right place.

Grace in the Ordinary was born in the middle of ordinary days. The kind filled with laundry piles, half-finished coffee, never-ending to-do lists, children who need you right now, and a brain that sometimes struggles to hold all the pieces together. It wasn’t created from a place of having it all figured out, but from a desire to make faith feel doable, even on imperfect days.

This space is for those of us who love God deeply, but live real, busy, often messy lives.

Who This Space is For

This blog is for:

  • Mothers finding God in the ordinary moments of daily life
  • Women serving quietly (and sometimes tiredly) in ministry
  • Parents who want to disciple their children without pressure or perfection
  • Ministry leaders who need low-prep, meaningful resources
  • Anyone who wants faith to feel supportive, not burdensome

If your life feels full, your attention feels scattered, or your faith feels quieter than you wish it were, you belong here.

Why I Created Gracehouse Printables

As a mother, a woman starting out in ministry, and someone with ADHD, I know what it’s like to want meaningful faith rhythms, and also feel completely exhausted by complicated plans, lofty expectations, or resources that assume unlimited time and mental energy.

Right now, our church is in a season of waiting for our kid’s ministry to be alive and thriving – but that doesn’t mean I don’t feel called to prepare for it. Even more so, now my 1 year old is starting to show an interest in coloring books, dot markers, and all things arts & crafts (taking after her Mama!).

I imagine there’s more of you out there like me, whether you’re raising little disciples in your home, or church. I wanted resources that:

  • Don’t require hours of prep
  • Are Biblically and theologically true to God’s Word
  • Work for real kids with short attention spans
  • Support faith in small, consistent ways
  • Leave room for grace when things don’t go perfectly

Gracehouse Printables exists because faith doesn’t have to be loud or elaborate to be faithful. Sometimes it looks like coloring at the table. Sometimes it looks like a short prayer whispered between tasks. Sometimes it looks like simply showing up — again.

For Women in all Seasons of Life

Not everyone reading this has children – this is still a space for you. All women, all seasons, all walks of life.

Some of us may be in a season of waiting, trying and praying for motherhood (I’ve been there). Maybe your path never went in that direction. Maybe you’re called to be a mother figure in different ways. Other’s may not feel called to the role at all – that’s okay. We trust in God’s plan and what He has in store for all of us.

You’re welcome here.

A Gentle Approach to Faith in Everyday Life

I believe God meets us in the small, faithful steps, not in perfection.

Faith doesn’t have to look impressive to be meaningful. We aren’t defined by sourdough and linen dresses – for some, that’s the dream, for others, it’s not.

You are right where God has called you to be – city or country, apartment or homestead, Primark or Prada.

It can be simple. It can be repetitive. It can be imperfect and messy. And it can still be deeply rooted.

This space is intentionally grace-centered, accessible across denominations, and grounded in the belief that spiritual formation happens best when it’s woven into everyday life.
